There are few things tastier than a grilled steak or chicken breast. You know the ones. They are juicy, with appealing grill marks on the outside. To do this right, you need the right equipment but firing up the barbecue grill isn't always feasible. According to America's Test Kitchen (a PBS show that tests kitchen equipment and recipes, among other interesting topics), the George Forman Grills were recommended among the best table top grills . The Krups grill was Highly Recommended (yeah, they make more than coffee pots - I was surprised, too) and The Foreman Grill received a rating of recommended.

They highly recommended the KRUPS Universal Grill and Panini Maker FDE312 and recommended the GEORGE FOREMAN Family Size Grill GR26.
I ended up buying the Krups. I've included my next Grill here, too: The newest Foreman grill is much improved. I also got a grill for individual meals to make in my microwave, which saves a ton of time and does a great job - the Microgrill.
